Tomer Yogev is a serial entrepreneur, having founded, co-founded, or taken early executive positions in over a dozen ventures in a variety of domains. Initially a technologist, Tomer began his career teaching and selling technology solutions. From there he moved into technology consulting, venture capital, and a variety of entrepreneurial ventures. Most recently, Tomer co-founded TandemSpring, where he advised, and often took on interim executive roles, in early-stage businesses. Tomer has directly assisted over 60 businesses grow, from raw startups to high growth venture-backed firms, in marketspaces ranging from medical devices to non-profits to FinTech, and in a variety of domains including strategy, technology, marketing, and finance.
In addition to having advised dozens of early-stage businesses, Tomer also brings to Freshwater Advisors his experience in venture capital through his time at Chicago-area venture firm, MK Capital, as well as a strong background in enterprise software and data integration during his years with software startup eCopy (acquired by Nuance Communications, 2009), software giant BMC, and telecom startup Mantiss Information (acquired by Extant, 2000). Tomer holds a BA from Northwestern University where he created the Technology & Society major and field of study and is also a graduate of The University of Chicago Booth School of Business where he earned his MBA with concentrations in Strategy, Finance, Organizational Behavior,
