Brian Hoff

Brian E. Hoff is the Executive of Grid Technologies at GE Digital where he applies his expertise to help in development of software and IOT solutions for the industrial space. Hoff previously served as Vice President of Innovation at Exelon Corporation, an American Fortune 100 energy company. Exelon is the largest electric parent company in the United States by revenue, the largest regulated utility in the United States with approximately 10 million customers and the largest operator of nuclear power plants in the United States.
Previously, Hoff has served a variety of roles at Exelon in Engineering, Nuclear Oversight, Information Technology and Cyber Security.
Hoff graduated from Hamilton Technical College with a B.S. in Electronics Engineering Technology and earned an M.B.A. from the University of Phoenix. Additionally, he has completed Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management’s Global Advanced Management Program.
Hoff serves on the boards of 1871 and Chicago Innovation. At the Museum of Science and Industry he serves on the Innovation Committee and Presidents Council. In 2019, he was named by Crain’s as one of the Tech 50 and in 2017 Top Forty Innovators by Public Utility Fortnightly.
